Just Checking in to Say I Am Alive!

Hi everybody!Smile I hope everyone is well. I apologize for my absence but I have not been feeling well of late.

I injured myself doing some work and I have been in a good bit of pain. Truth be told I injured my shoulder and elbow and the pain has at times been dreadful.

I have been going to physical therapy and I hope to be better soon. The top of my right hand gets numb and sitting at the keyboard becomes uncomfortable. I have set up things so it is not so bad now.

On the financial front things are status quo. I am still putting money away and there have been no major disasters. Thank Heavens!

I have lost about 20 lbs on the diet but now I am stuck at this point until I can exercise more.

Well, that is about all that is going on here. I hope to soon be a full participant here again!

    It's nice to see you back. Congratulations on the weight loss!! That is great. Sorry to hear about your shoulder, sounds very uncomfortable. It will get better in time.

    So glad that you are back, I have missed you. My husband had a pinched nerve in his shoulder and the pain was unbearable, so i kind of know what you are going thru. I sure hope you feel better soon.

    Thanks gang! I have been alternating ice packs and heat as well as going to physical therapy. It is good to be back!Smile

    I'm glad that you're ok, relatively speaking. Feel better soon...take it slow. Way to go on the 20 pounds! I'm stuck at 5 (which is better than nothing, so I'll take it).

    Oh Paul! I am so sorry to hear you are in pain! I have been wondering where you were! I have'nt been blogging too much lately either, but I even went over to the forums to see if you had been by. Hope you feel better soon! Keep doing the PT and I'm sure there are some easy "chair" exercises you could work on that wouldn't hurt you!

    I know how much an arm injury can hurt, especially on the dominant hand. I hope it improves rapidly for you. I know typing can't be easy, but you can reassign your mouse buttons so you can use it with your left hand. It is surprising how fast you can get used to using a mouse that way. Feel better soon.

    Oh, congrats on the weight loss. Can you go walking for exercise or does even that jar your arm?

    Hey Priceplus! Sorry to hear about the injury and subsequent pain...I went through some of that myself last summer and can relate with the numbness and pain.

    Glad to hear your thumbs up for riding again...just be careful!
