Still going strong.

May 2nd, 2006 at 04:49 am

I have app. 14 payments until the debt is paid off. Thee wife has been good and has not incurred any new debt and has not opened up any new cards!

She has stopped going crazy with the debit card. I hope I am not missing something.

I am still hiding money from her. May with weddings and other events promises to be an expensive month for gifts. Sometimes I wish I bever recieved invitations.

Mu motto is now no credit card debt and I'll be in heaven, sometime in mid 2007!
Alright I know I am a bad poet!

Good luck on your goals. Maybe you and your wife should sit down and decide how much to spend on each celebratory event and just stick to a certain amount in cash or gift cards, instead of having to go shopping for gifts. Would probably be safer.

I have bought many wedding gifts on overstock.com and smartbargains.com. I always end up getting gifts that seem expensive but really weren't. Just don't let your wife visit those websites... Wink

I think that is a primo idea Kashi. I intend to speak to the wife about it. Thanks!

my rich friends call invitations to events, handouts and discard them in the trash.... i always go to them, or send a gift and my apologies... if it is a choice between going to a dress up event in june and i can be on a boat sailing in the lake.. the answer comes to me pretty easy.. i know about may, we have 3 invitations already... we have attended 2 weddings this year and have one more in july...
