Must control blogging urge!

I have stopped watching TV to hang around here and I think that is good to a point. I have been dodging a little work during the day to come here. The lists became very addictive! Dodging work is baaaddd!!Smile

I spent no money today but DW had to travel and so the mini van had to get filled with gas. 43 dollars to fill the tank! Arrgghhh!!! She spent 15 dollars for lunch as well. Well, so it goes! Oh and I forgot 40 dollars for dinner(she took her brother out).

So, I am sitting at the keyboard this evening singing along to Nelson Eddy and Jeanette MacDonald. As if anyone even remembers them anymore sad to say!Frown
An inexpensive joy to be sure.

I am craving a DR.Pepper and some nachos. It is Friday night and I am a wild and crazy guy!SmileOh man I am missing Battlestar GAlactica! BYE!!!Smile

    Gotta laugh! I've been spending a lot of time here also. Used to be I'd be on my fitness forum, but I'm finding that I'm much more "comfortable" here with other financially-minded people. AND I happen to have a Dr. Pepper sitting right here on the computer desk! There's only about 1/3 left though.

    I just got out of the mini van life. We had 3 vans over the course of 15 years. 5 kids will do that to you. I must say that my Equinox takes a lot less to fill up than the Windstar did! (and a lot more fun to drive!) ;-)

    sorry to have to rub this in: i filled up yesterday with $25. the previous tank was bought on 11/1 so it lasted over 2 wks. i love my focus! Big Grin
    price, now i'm picturing the hulk dressed up as steve martin dancing and saying "i'm a wild and CRAZY guy!!" and it's cracking me up!

    They have quite a discography Eddy and McDonald. Even their own website.

    Of course, so does Dr. Pepper.

    Bookie is right about there being a web site. They were a pair of singers brought together in several 1930s musicals. My favorite among them is "Maytime"!Smile

    I'm missing BG, too, but I have to wait until it comes out on DVD. Only thing I miss about not having cable is losing sci-fi channel.
