It never stops..........

567 dollars to fix car and 253 for computer and school supplies. Arrgghhhh!

We have cut back on soda and junk. We have continued to clip coupons and comparison shop and stock up when there are sales.

I am trying to be a minimalist and not purchase anything. It is amazing that I have walked around for two weeks with the same eight dollars in my wallet.

I keep putting money away and am constantly looking for ways to save more and squeeze more out of my budget.

It never stops this money saving thing....

In any case I am still in the black for now and I am trying to stay that way!

    The cost of everything has gone up. Product sizes have shrunk. Inflation is just eating away at my savings. The stock market is not doing well. I am worried. I keep chugging along though.

    If it's any consolation, a friend of mine recently went to Bangkok and said he was astonished to find that our supermarket prices in El Salvador are more expensive than Bagkok....just think about it!...

    In the old days you could get under the hood yourself and do some of the repairs. Now with computers and special tools you really can't do much! Sigh!!!Frown

    My husband and I are financial opposites. With me being on savingadvice, I guess you can figure out that the hubby is not the frugal one. He says he's frugal, but I could take that one to court and win it hands down.

    I've been telling him for a while how expensive everything is and he doesn't say much. The other day he told me how everyone is talking about how much everything is costing them and he said that he is starting to notice some things that he buys that have really gone up in price.

    Hang in there PRICEPLUS. We're all in there together.
