Going well so far.

I am quite worried. Things are going well so far this year. I am spending little if any on most days that is outside the budget. The CC payments are going in on a timely fashion. My wife is not spending on CC's,(at least to the best of my knowledge).

Why worry? It always seems that when things are going along well the other shoe drops. Maybe Jeffreys' dropping off my petition to the Japanese God of Wealth will make things go my way this year. Things are going along as planned at the moment!

    LOL! You're like me. Always thinking the next disaster is just around the corner! Seriously, when the finances are going so smoothly (think autopilot) anything that comes up will not shake you too much. First, you'll be better prepared (mentally) to handle the situation and second, you'll be able to make adjustments without suffering too much financial hardship since you are now PLANNING better. There's a world of difference between "action" and "reaction". BTW, I'm still learning that myself and feeling much more empowered.

    It is funny how much we worry when things in the past have snuck up on us. I do like the feeling of being proactive instead of reactive. It really does wonders for the mind!
